Saltfest is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be part of this iconic event in Saltville, Virginia! Known as the “Salt Capital of the Confederacy,” Saltville is steeped in history, and Saltfest is the crown jewel of its community celebrations. 

Every year, Saltfest brings together locals and visitors for a day filled with vibrant energy, incredible music, delicious food, and a bustling array of unique vendors. It’s a festival that celebrates the heart and soul of the town—and we’re honored to join the excitement on June 7th! 

This year’s Saltfest promises to be bigger and better than ever, with food trucks serving mouthwatering treats, live music that will get everyone dancing, and a marketplace filled with one-of-a-kind treasures from talented artisans. 

For us at Penny’s Dream Note Card and More, it’s the perfect place to showcase our creativity, connect with the community, and celebrate the magic of handmade goods. 

Planning the Perfect Setup

One of the most exciting parts of our preparations has been crafting the ideal booth layout. We’ve been busy sketching out ideas and organizing a first draft of the layout, imagining how every corner of our booth can tell the story of Penny’s Dream. 

This early stage has already been filled with creativity and problem-solving, as we work to ensure the space will be both functional and visually appealing. The arrival of our new canopy is something we’re eagerly anticipating. It’s a key piece of our setup that will truly bring the vision to life. 

While we wait, we’re using this time to refine our plans and think about how to best use the space once we’re able to test everything out. From where the displays will go to how items will be showcased, every detail matters to create a welcoming experience for Saltfest visitors. 

The Joy of Creating New Items

Saltfest feels like more than just an event—it’s an opportunity to connect, celebrate, and share our creative journey. To make it even more special, we’ve been working on debuting some brand-new items at the festival. 

Designing these new pieces has been such a rewarding process. We’re pouring our hearts into each one, making sure it’s not only beautiful but also meaningful. 

Our hope is that these exclusive items will resonate with the amazing people who stop by our booth. From selecting the perfect materials to finalizing designs, creating new products has also given us a chance to push the boundaries of our creativity. These items are a labor of love, and we can’t wait to see how they’ll be received.
